Language

All manuscripts must be written in clear, grammatically correct English. Authors who are non-native English speakers are strongly encouraged to have their manuscript professionally edited before submission.

File Format

Submit manuscripts in Microsoft Word (.docx) format. Figures and tables should be embedded in the manuscript file and also submitted as separate high-resolution files where applicable.

Page Setup

Use A4 page size, 2.5 cm margins on all sides, Times New Roman 12pt, double-spaced, with continuous line numbering throughout the manuscript.

Originality

Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration by any other journal. Similarity index must be below 20% (excluding references). All submissions are screened using plagiarism detection software.

Title Page

Full manuscript title (max 20 words), running title (max 8 words), all authors' full names, affiliations, ORCID iDs, and corresponding author's email address. No author details should appear in the main manuscript file.

Abstract

Structured abstracts for original research must include: Background, Methods, Results, and Conclusion. Follow word limits per article type. No citations or abbreviations in the abstract.

Keywords

Provide 3–6 keywords following the abstract, using MeSH (Medical Subject Headings) terms wherever possible. Avoid repeating words already in the title.

Main Body — Original Research

Follow the IMRaD structure: Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion. Include a Conclusion section. Limitations of the study must be acknowledged in the Discussion.

Acknowledgements

Acknowledge funding sources, technical assistance, and contributors who do not meet authorship criteria. Disclose any use of AI writing tools in this section.

References

Use Vancouver style (numbered, in order of appearance). List all authors when six or fewer; for seven or more, list first six followed by "et al." Include DOI where available.

Figures

Submit figures in TIFF, EPS, or high-resolution PNG (minimum 300 dpi). Each figure must have a concise legend. Number figures consecutively (Figure 1, Figure 2…). Figures must be self-explanatory without reference to the text.

Tables

Tables must be created using Word table tools — not images. Number tables consecutively (Table 1, Table 2…) and place a descriptive title above each table. Footnotes should explain all abbreviations used.

Ethics Approval

All research involving human subjects must include the name of the approving ethics committee (IRB/KEPK), approval number, and date of approval. Studies must comply with the Declaration of Helsinki.

Informed Consent

Authors must confirm that written informed consent was obtained from all participants or their legal guardians. For case reports, explicit written consent from the patient must be stated.

Conflict of Interest

All authors must declare any competing interests, or state: "The authors declare no conflict of interest." This must be included as a separate section before the references.

Funding Statement

Disclose all sources of funding for the research. If no funding was received, state: "This research received no specific grant from any funding agency in the public, commercial, or not-for-profit sectors."

Author Contributions

Use CRediT (Contributor Roles Taxonomy) to describe each author's contribution, e.g.: Conceptualization, Methodology, Formal analysis, Writing – original draft, Writing – review & editing, Supervision.

Data Availability Statement

Authors are required to include a data availability statement. If data are publicly available, provide the repository name and access link or DOI. If data are restricted, state the reason clearly.

Create an account or log in at fpchi.org. Register your ORCID iD in your profile before submitting.

Prepare: (1) Title page with author details, (2) Anonymous main manuscript, (3) Figures and supplementary files.

Submit through the OJS portal at fpchi.org. Complete all metadata fields including keywords, abstract, and author details.

Track your manuscript status through your author dashboard. The editorial office will contact you via the registered email address.
